During my days as an entrepreneur I have found the importance of reading, the importance of learning and the best and simplest way that I have found it’s through books, I consider myself has a book freak at the beginning my wife just to complained because every week there were book in the mail plus the bookshelf was full but then she realize that was one of my passion I always say that books are life and knowledge if you don’t use them you won’t grow much and you will learn much, books for me are the windows of this world is the way that you can really see how beautiful this world is and the most important of all you are capable. This is why I write this post to recommend you some of the books that change my life in a 360 way!
This book was the turning in my life went I read it for the first time I feel like something inside my head broke and never come back to be the same, this book basically talks about the story of the writer Robert Kiyosaki and the story of his to Dad and his best friend Dad and the way that both of them tough him how to manage his money and to know the difference between an asset and liability (which it was something that I didn’t know before).
Some of the topic that the book talk is:
-The myth that you need to earn a high income to become rich.
-The belief that your house is an asset.
-Show parents why they can’t rely on the school system to teach kids about money.
-define once and for all an asset and liability.
-Teach you what to teach your kids about money for their future financial success.
In all the sentence of the word this so far is one of the best books that exists!
So far what I can say about this book is that every entrepreneur, business owner, and people, in general, has to read this book is a step by step guide on how to manage your life. This book is an interview between Andrew Carnegie an immigrant from Scotland that became the richest man in the world after selling his business to J.P Morgan, and Napoleon Hill an author who become an early producer of personal success literature; The book is composed of 17 steps in how to fullest develop your life, some of the steps are:
-Definiteness of purpose.
-Go the extra mile.
-Learn from defeat.
– Budget your Time and Money.
-The Golden Rule.
And many more step to follow, I will totally recommend this book to every person that wants to start a business on his own because of some principles that are very important to follow to fully develop yourself as an individual.
The Mindset Manual by Cory Gregory.
I have always been fan of fitness in fact in the gym was where everything starts even where I meet my wife and through fitness and IG I found this guy a few years ago, and since then he became one of my role models, He is a true entrepreneur he motived me in everything and through him I have been able to found some good books that has helping me a lot in my life and I really happy that he finally write a book about his own experience and like the title of the book said it is a true manual and is his own story in how he begins his journey and how he develops his life how he succeed in fitness and life, some of the topics that you can find in this book are:
-Get up early.
-Don’t be afraid to fail.
In general, this book is pure gold it will wake your ass up! (literally).
By the time that I read this book I already have the desire to start something but in that moment I didn’t have the guide where to start, I already have this book on my bookshelf for a recommendation of a friend but I didn’t know what kind of stuff I have in my hands until I read it and really give me the tool and the sources where to go and what to do. This is the kind of books that you need to come back and read again, Timothy Ferris is one of the guys who really live as an entrepreneur, this guy it’s just different from the rest.
In this book he gives you some good tips on how to create and run a company from anywhere in the world will you travel or just work from your house some of the tips that he gives you in this book are:
-How to outsource your life to overseas virtual assistants for $5 per hour and do whatever you want.
-How to eliminate 50% of your work in 48 hours using the principles of a forgotten Italian economist.
-How to trade a long-haul career for short work burst and frequent “mini-retirements”.
-Real-world templates you can copy for eliminating email, negotiating with bosses and clients, or getting a private chef for less than $8 a meal.
I have seen a lot of reviews about this book good and bad, a lot of people think this book is a scam, but it’s not I’m living proof that this book is a real fact.
I don’t that exists a specific book in how to be an entrepreneur because we all have different goal and purpose in life but this book it’s one of the kind because instead of break your head trying to figure it up how to build a business, this book helps you and show you the simplicity to be an entrepreneur, Mike give you some good tips in case that you don’t have a resources in general like money, computer or a place where you can work.
Here are some of the topic that he talks about in this book:
-why a business plan is a total waste of time.
-why fulfilling your own needs is the first and last order of business.
-how to get started in business with little or no money.
-how to stop procrastinating and take action now.
I really love this book and I enjoy it will I read it, definitely is in my list of the book that I will read again!
